With about a month to go before he is due to enlist for national service, the Ministry of Defence (Mindef) has revealed that it has not received further appeals for deferment from footballer Ben Davis.Davis, who turned 18 in November, is currently on the books of English Premier League (EPL) side Fulham, the first Singaporean to sign professional terms with an EPL team. Should he fail to return by his enlistment date next month, he will be considered a defaulter.
